Course Description

The course will allow you to uncover printmaking methods and techniques. With practical, hands on experience some of the aspects you will cover include:

• Direct methods of printmaking such as monoprinting
• Relief printing (linocut and collograph)
• Etching (line, aquatint ,photo)
• Use of presses releif and intaglio methods of ink application
• Silkscreen

You will have the opportunity to focus on one or two methods for your own projects if you wish. By the end of the course you will have an understanding of print processes and a portfolio of work.
